Black Bean Brownie Recipe

If you are anything like me, then the way to you heart is through your stomach! Thankfully there are many ways to make those super tasty meals healthy too! I am hoping to help you find some healthy recipes that will make you healthy, and happy!

Love brownies or chocolate cake? You’ve got to try this recipe. Its so tasty, and also healthy! ¬†Black bean brownies!! So tasty its hard not to eat them all… but if you do, you wont have the guilt!

So here is what you will need:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 can black beans
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1tbsp coconut oil
  • 1tsp vanilla
  • 1tbsp hot water
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • pinch of salt

You can eat them on their own or:

Ice with; peanut butter, or greek yogurt mixed with honey, or coconut oil melted with cacao powder and maple syrup!

How to make them:

  • Preheat the oven to 350F
  • In a blender blend the eggs with the beans till they have completely blended together.
  • Add in the maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla, hot water, cacao powder and salt and blend till smooth.
  • Pour into a lined pan, or greased pan with coconut oil.
  • Bake for 25 mins, or till a knife pulls out clean

So simple! They turn out super moist, and absolutely delicious! Perfect for when you need that little treat to make you happy, but want to stay on the health train! Perfect for your kids, or hubby, and to share with a friend!
